Searching the moment...finding the emotion; passion; intrigue; peace or just raw beauty. 

Laura has been taking pictures since she was 6 years old and developed a simple delight in capturing spontaneous moments as they appeared in her life.

Now, with the immediacy of digital technology, and the ability to see her captured moments instantly that simple delight... that passion for the moment...the heart of her photography has become even more achievable.  Whether its press pit in the throng of it all, poppies in a field, pyramids in Mexico, or simply walking with the children...

Preferring to work on location, her photography embraces two diverse yet mutually re-enforcing ingredients...those of a deliberate informality of style coupled with strict technical disciplines. Her inspiration in recent years has been an attempt to capture life as seen through a child's eye without the usual constraints, joining in with a child's passion, innocence and joy.

Laura was brought up in Surrey, lived for a while in Egypt before moving back to Somerset with its abundance of sacred sites, concert venues, people and fabulous landscapes.
